Bank of Utica - Privacy Policy
Your Privacy is Protected
Bank of Utica has a long history of safeguarding customers’ private financial information. We are committed
to upholding that tradition. This notice describes our privacy practices and is required by a federal law.
Bank of Utica does not sell or trade customer information to outside companies who
offer non-financial products or services. Our guidelines help to protect against fraud and also protect customer

What Kind of Information Does The Bank Collect?
We may collect what is known as “nonpublic personal information.” This is information that
we obtain from you in order to provide financial products and services.
We may collect “nonpublic personal information” about you from these sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms.
For example, when you apply for a loan or open an account with us, we need information about your financial status –
such as your place of employment, income, monthly expenses and personal assets and debts outstanding, etc. –
to process your request.
- Information about your transactions with us or others.
We maintain records of all loan and deposit transactions. If you use our online banking services, we record your
online sessions so that we can process and confirm your transactions and provide you with automatic online information.
- Information we receive from outside companies or third parties.
Such as when you apply for a loan, we obtain information from credit bureaus regarding your credit and repayment history.
Using such information responsibly will help us to continue to protect you against fraud and provide our customers
with better financial services.
